What is Scientific Social Responsibility?

Scientific Social Responsibility is the combination of scientific knowledge and social conscience. A socially responsible scientist will participate in discussions and decisions regarding the use of science in addressing issues and concerns in society. They also help to popularize science and make it more accessible to the public.
